About the Online Internet Marketing Course

1. Traditional Marketing Vs Online Internet Marketing - Commercial Implications of the Internet, Web 2.0 and its Implications, website architecture, Social Interaction with the Internet, Internet Convergence, the Network Effect, Internet Information Exchange, Internet Audience Size and Exposure.

2. Internet Marketing Strategy – Online Marketing research, Internet Marketing Plan, Website Traffic Analysis, Links and contra agreements, Affiliate marketing, email Marketing, dealing with digital agencies

3. Passive Internet Marketing - Website Search Engine Optimisation, Hits & Impressions, Key word Management, Meta Tags, Page view analytics, Visitor statistics, arrival and exit pages, Google Analytics, Page Tracking.

4. Active Online Internet Marketing – Writing for the web, Developing online content, Google Pay Per click Marketing, Banner & digital Image marketing, Adwords, Adsense, GAP, Google Web Tools, Online PR, Social Networking, Blogging, Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, PPC, Podcastin

Facilities & Support:

This course is delivered in a PC lab and course notes are supplied online for download each week.

 

Course work

The Online Marketing course work comprises of an Internet Marketing Plan, Search Engine Assignment and Research Project. The practical online marketing course work is a critical part of the programme as it provides you with the opportunity to apply Online Internet Marketing course tools learned during the program. Practical guidance will be offered throughout the course by experienced lecturers with several years industry experience to ensure that learning is converted to practice.

Duration & Cost

The Diploma in Internet Marketing course is delivered one evening per week over 11 weeks. The course costs 1,450euro. There is an option of a Wednesday evening and/or Saturday morning class.
