The Diploma in Travel and Tourism Marketing course is designed for aspiring marketing professionals in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. The management, business and marketing skills acquired can be applied to a variety of sectors in the industry: hotel groups, airlines, tour operators, car hire, tourist boards, travel agencies and other tourism related and commercial applications to name but a few.

Marketing is a vital management function in the tourism industry. Students on the Diploma in Travel & Tourism Marketing course will examine services versus product marketing, the marketing mix for tourism, the international marketing of tourism and the control and management of marketing activities.

You will understand the positive impacts of tourism on local economies; and the challenges that tourism planners face today. Students will gain insights into the theory and practice of tourism management, including the management processes and styles of management and leadership across cultures.

Throughout the Travel & Tourism Marketing course students will learn to critically evaluate theoretical and practical approaches to tourism planning and to critically assess the contribution made by a range of institutions and organisations. Students will learn to identify key issues in tourism today and explain the challenges and solutions for these issues.

Award Title:  Travel and Tourism Marketing Diploma
Award Body: LCM- London Centre for Marketing (UK) Level 5

Progression:  Successful graduates will hold the title Dip.TTM after their name. Students can progress on to complete the Higher Professional Diploma level 6 in Tourism & Marketing or a Degree in Business or Tourism and Hospitality.

Eligibility:
CMI welcome bookings from students from all work and educational backgrounds. Selection is based on review of details you submit in the online booking form. 
 

Cost and duration
The duration of the Diploma in Travel & Tourism Marketing course is twenty weeks and course takes place one evening per week on a Thursday evening .The cost of the course is 1,950 Euro which includes exam fees.
