The Communications & Management Institute guarantees a high level of standards in their range of courses through their affiliation and agreements with the following bodies; HETAC, FETAC, ICM & PMI. HETAC - Higher Education Awards Council
HETAC is the Higher Education and Training Awards Council and is the national awarding body for higher education and training in Ireland, for the private education sector. It was set up as a statutory body on 11 June 2001, by the Minister for Education and Science under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act, 1999. CMI has its quality assurance policies and procedures approved by HETAC, whose role is to monitor and evaluate the standard of courses at CMI. CMI currently delivers Certificate and Higher Diploma courses from level 2 to level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

FETAC – Further Education & Training Awards Council
FETAC is the Further Education and Training Awards Council, the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. It was set up as a statutory body on 11 June 2001 by the Minister for Education and Science under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act, 1999. FETAC reports to the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) who manage the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). CMI is a recognised Education Provider under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act 1999, and currently delivers education and training from level 2 to level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications.

Institute of Commercial Management
Several of the courses offered by CMI are accredited by the ICM, Institute of Commercial Management. Based in the UK their awards are internationally recognised. Founded in 1979, the Institute of Commercial Management qualification is one of the leading professional bodies in the field of business and management education.
The ICM offers professionally recognised qualifications in Project Management, Event Management, Journalism and Media, Management Studies, HR Management, Office Management, Marketing, Sales, Sales Management, Public Relations, Advertising and Sales. The ICM qualification is used throughout Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa and Asia and is widely recognised by leading industries, bodies and professions, particularly in Ireland and the UK.

Project Management Institute
Founded in 1969, PMI® Project Management Institute is the world’s leading not-for-profit project management professional association, with over 270,000 members in 170 countries. PMI ® provides global leadership in the development of professional standards, certifications, research, publications, education and training in the project management field. CMI, Communications & Management Institute is a PMI® Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.), Provider No. 2788.
Through this appointment, CMI has been recognised as a provider of project management courses that can assist you in furthering your education and credentials to achieve PMP®, CAPM® or PgMP® status. The range of PMI credentials offered through CMI allows you to continue with your ongoing professional development for years to come. The Advanced Diploma in Project Mgmt (ADV.DIP.PM) is recognised by PMI and 70 PDU’s is allocated for this programme towards maintaining your PMP®, CAPM® or PgMP® credentials. The PMI – Project Management Certification course which leads to PMP® and CAPM® credentials is allocated 42 PDU’s.
