About the Course

Project Management is a growing profession and nearly all sectors of the economy require qualified project managers. The current economic downturn will mean that only the most qualified industry professionals will satisfy the demands of employers. To build a successful career in project management, it is essential that individuals achieve project management industry recognition through a recognised Project Management PMI course.

CMI has teamed up with two leading educational award bodies, PMI – Project Management Institute and FETAC – Further Education and Training Awards Council to offer you a 14 week intensive course that will prepare you for the high standards and potential challenges that lie ahead.

Objectives
The PMI Project Management course will open up new career opportunities which were previously not available and put you in a better place to develop a rewarding career in project management.

The PMI course offers PMP or CAPM recognition after successful completion of a final end of course test which is composed of a combination of theory and real-life examples. Apart from the practical application of PMI project management tools and techniques used in real world situations there is a strong focus on the practice of excellence in project management.

The Project Management PMI course provides instant credibility in terms of your project management skills, including your understanding of and competence in the PMI Project Management framework. PMI certification implies that your project management practices are current with the best practices of the project management industry and that your approach to PM will develop and mature over time. Many employers now require that project managers have PMI certification. If you don’t have it, you are running the risk of being left behind.
