About the Course

Projects can range from organising a company's
move into new premises to such activities as the
building of a multi-million euro factory plant, the
development of a hotel complex, or the
implementation of a new computer system. The
ability to manage projects is an essential skill
which major employers require. So much so,
that the project management role now forms a
major part of the activities of medium to large
organisations.

As a management discipline, Project

Management has evolved in order to enable

managers to successfully plan, co-ordinate and

control the often complex and diverse activities of modern industrial and commercial
projects. The Advanced Diploma in Project Management
is a comprehensive course which covers
the key processes and skills required of a professional project manager.

The context is set against a typical project life-cycle and the topics covered are based
on best practice from project initiation through to project closure. The Diploma in
Project Management is accredited by the Institute of Commercial Management and is
internationally recognised in over 80 countries worldwide.

Most importantly, the programme will equip you with the skills needed to set up a Project Management Office and for managing Local, National and International Projects.
