About the Course

The Human Resource Development Advanced Diploma is a comprehensive course designed for aspiring HR Managers, business executives, recruitment consultants and people interested in learning about the fascinating world of HR.
The programme offers a critical assessment of the hr business and includes areas such as Business law & Management, Training & Development.The challenges facing the HR profession are greater than ever before.

The HR Development Advanced Diploma has been recently updated to take into account changes confronting the HR role. New sections now include: How to deal with redundancies, industrial unrest, industrial tribunals, formal and informal grievance procedures, competency procedures, absence procedure interviews and timely warning meetings , cost – cutting , employment law and redundancy arrangements.

HR professionals are facing ever increasing demands on human resources, training budgets, and organisational processes and this programme is designed to help you become critically aware of solutions to help organisations succeed and become more effective in the current environment.

The HR Development Advanced Diploma course has been designed to meet the needs of line managers, those wishing to enter the specialist area of Human Resource Management and HR advisors seeking to offer in company consultancy advice to line managers. The program explores the industrial/ employee relations landscape, as well as the issues facing HR Managers to-day. The advanced Diploma has more modules than standard Diploma courses offered in other colleges and is considered one of the best courses in Ireland by lecturers and past students.

Learning to manage performance, deal with discipline and dismissal issues, develop competencies that enhance individual and organisational performance, complying with the law, and work within health and safety requirements, effectively communicate, develop and train staff are vital areas covered in this HR Management course.

Course Cost & Duration
The Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Development is a 30 week programme and takes place one evening per week in Dublin city centre. The course costs 1,950 euro and exam fees are 450 euro extra. Total cost is 2,400 euro.

Progression
Graduates of this programme go on to pursue a Degree in HR Management or Business or related area, or pursue a Higher Diploma in HR Management or Business or Masters of Business (MBS) or HRM.

Eligibility
This course is open to people from any educational background and with various levels of work experience. Due to the broad nature of the programme the course is not limited to an applicant from one industry background.
