HETAC, The Higher Education and Training Awards Council

HETAC is the Higher Education and Training Awards Council and is the national awarding body for higher education and training in Ireland from level 6 to 10, for the private education sector. It was set up as a statutory body on 11 June 2001, by the Minister for Education and Science under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act, 1999.

 
CMI has its quality assurance policies and procedures approved by HETAC. It is HETAC's role to monitor and evaluate the standard of courses at CMI. CMI currently delivers Certificate and Higher Diploma courses from level 2 to level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). HETAC  monitors a Higher Diploma in International Business (level 8) from CMI.
