Full time 40hrs per week

6 mth contract*

*may be extended depending on business performance.


Job Objective:


To increase turnover by driving sales, maintaining strong links with key clients & exploring and developing new business opportunities.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Meeting monthly sales targets for our small to large volume customers.
  • Increase revenue of the existing customer base.
  • Identify potential new customers and target them accordingly.
  • Generate & follow up on all potential sales leads and covert to real business.
  • Managing sales through customer visits, online marketing & assisting with sales in store.
  • Manage online and in store promotions to increase revenue.
  • Develop new strategies to compete with direct competition.
  • Introduction of new products to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting on new business leads
  • Sales forecasting for the month ahead.
  • To maintain and update the company website including content, pictures, pricing etc.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor online sales activity.
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan to increase revenue for all areas of the business.
  • Develop & manage the productivity of the marketing plan and report monthly.
  • Monitor, review and report on all sales & marketing activity monthly and identify the areas where improvements can be made.
  • Organising events & representing Alpack at relevant trade exhibitions.
  • Assisting with in house customer queries, sales and pricing as required.

 

Education and Experience


Good knowledge or Excel & Word

  • Business, Sales or Marketing related qualification.
  • Sales with Marketing experience a distinct advantage.
  • 2 years or more experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge is an advantage but not a necessity.
  • Strong intrapersonal skills
