Nebosh - National Examination Body in Occupational Health & Safety 

NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) was formed in 1979 as an awarding body with charitable status.  They offer a range of qualifications designed to meet the needs of health, safety and environmental managers. 

Courses leading to NEBOSH qualifications attract around 50,000 candidates annually and are offered by over 600 course providers, with exams taken in over 120 countries around the world. 

Nebosh have one of the highest failure rates of any award body. 

In 2015, CMI withdrew its partnership with Nebosh due to this awarding body high failure rates, poor service and lack of support and training to approved centres.
