  • Part time Courses - Starting this Week !! - Last Few Places left !!

    CMI Admissions have a few places left across a range of part-time courses. Online bookings/applications are being accepted and  reviewed by admissions. These part-time evening courses are commencing  6, 7, 8, 9, 11  February 2012.



    It is still not too late to apply but places are now limited.

  • EGF Fund Grant for Redundant Construction Workers - 13 Jan 2012

    European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (the EGF) provides relevant supports to redundant workers to assist them back into employment. The scope of the EGF covers education and training programmes, career advice and guidance, and enterprise supports.

     

     

    Candidates must have been made redundant from the Construction industry between 1July 2009 - 30 March 2010. The course must be completed by Friday 8 June 2012. Eligible courses from CMI include Health & Safety, Environmental Studies , Environmental Management, and any other courses from CMI deemed relevent by EGF. The maximum EGF Training Grant in the case of courses accredited by FETAC is €3,000.  For more information click here.  Application form www.egf.ie/tg

    CMI Admissions is now taking enrollments and online bookings for a range of upcoming part-time evening courses. These part-time night courses are commencing 4, 6, 7, 8 & 9 February 2012. Places are limited. A 50 Euro discount voucher applies to bookings received on or before Tuesday 17 January 2012.  For further info on places call 01 4927070.   • New Website Launched by CMI - 02 December 2011

    CMI, goes from strength to strength and launched a new improved website on Friday 2 December 2011.

     

    Speaking at the launch, John O'Toole CEO of CMI, ''the new website is a dramatic improvement on the old site. We listened to staff and students and took on board their advice. It has taken longer than expected but Im very happy with the final design.

     

    Ease of navigation was a priority. I believe anybody browsing through courses will immediately recognise the types of courses on offer and instantly appreciate what CMI do. I look forward to current students recommending their friends to browse the site. '' Further new services will be rolled out by CMI in 2012. Watch this space....''

  • CMI speakers invited to PMI Ireland Chapter Event - 24 September 2011

    CMI speakers were invited to speak at one of the quarterly PMI Ireland Chapter conferences on Thursday 24 September 2011.

     

    CMI Speakers included: Ciaran Kennedy who talked about Scrum Ireland, Ed Sheerwood Smith talked about the 'Philosophy of Agile'  and John O'Toole, CEO of CMI talked about the new Agile Certified Practitioner course which will be starting in Feb 2012.   

     

    Maurice Lynch Professional Development Officer of PMI Ireland Chapter, commented 'the day went very well and participants throughly enjoyed the talks offered by the speakers from CMI.

     

    There was alot of interest amongst PMP qualified participants into the benefits of learning Agile and what it could do for them professionally and personally.

     

    The new Agile Certified Practitioner course will be commencing  at CMI in Feb 2012.

     

    The PMI Ireland chapter holds regular events for qualified PMI and PMP credential holders to maintain their PDU's.

    HETAC Chairman, Fergus O Cuanachain, presents CMI's CEO, Mr John O'Toole with a Quality Assurance Agreement Award. This quality agreement between CMI and HETAC reflects CMI's dedication to provide the very best quality experience for higher education students. CMI has moved to the next level of higher education and now offers a level 8 Higher Diploma qualification comparable to what is delivered by the Institutes of Technology and Universities.

     

    The Higher Education Training & Awards Council - HETAC nominated by the Higher Education Authority is the key awarding body of its kind in Ireland for the private education sector and issues awards from level 6 to level 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications.   • CMI is one of the first to use new FETAC online system - 10 November 2010

    CMI is one of a few FETAC authorised centres who have put themselves forward to be the first to use the new FETAC online system. Attending the first of a series of seminars at FETAC to-day, CMI indicates the new streamlined system is designed to improve the way results are inputted on the Web Candidate Entry System. The first round of results will be inputted on the new system at end of January 2011.
