CMI Latest NEWS - WEATHER ALERT - Friday 8 January 2010 

FREEZING WEATHER has led to cancellation of Exams tomorrow and Classes on Monday.

Freezing Weather conditions and the threat of further snowfall next week has lead to the cancellation of exams tomorrow, due to take place on Saturday 9 January 2010.  Morning exams due for tomorrow  have been postponed and have been rescheduled for Tuesday 26 January 2010, 18.30-21.30. Afternoon exams due for tomorrow have been postponed until Thursday 28 January 2010 18.30-21.30. Tomorrows posptponed exams will take place in the same exam venue,

Classes due for Monday 11 January 2010 have also been postponed until further notice.

According to the CMI's principal director, John O'Toole, 'We are monitoring the poor weather situation daily and will inform students by text message and by email of the most up to date decision regarding classes and exams which are due to take place in January 2010. Over 50% of students who texted CMI to-day could not attend tomorrows exams because of poor weather conditions in their area '.  

The current weather is unprecedented and with further snowfalls due next week CMI will continue to keep students informed as the situation regarding the weather and its impact on upcoming classes and exams unfolds . 

 
4 Jan 2010: Bookings announcment
CMI is now accepting bookings for upcoming February 2010 part-time professional courses. Students have the option on some courses to choose between an evening class or Saturday class. There is also full time courses starting andplease consult timetable. Higher Diploma, Graduate Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Certificate evening courses will commence Monday 1 February, Tuesday 2 February, Wednesday 3, Thursday 4 from 18:30-21:30. Saturday morning classes will start Sat 30 January from 10:00 -13:00 on a select number of courses. To book simply book online through this website and admissions will be in contact with you within 48 hours. Enrolments and bookings are now being taken and places are limited for the following courses:

 

  • Management Studies Graduate Diploma (UK - level 8)
  • International Business Higher Diploma - (HETAC - level 8)
  • Human Resource Management Advanced Diploma

  • Project Management Advanced Diploma

  • PMI – PMP & CAPM Certification Course (FETAC – Level 6)

  • Marketing, PR, Advertising & Sales Diploma

  • Event Management Advanced Diploma & Diploma

  • Criminology & Forensic Psychology Diploma

  • Journalism and Media Diploma

  • Business Management & Psychology Diploma

  • Management Advanced Certificate (FETAC - level 6 Major Award)


All courses take place in Dublin 2 (city centre) off Dame street, Dublin 2 and tend to book quickly. It is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.

CMI has been granted HETAC Education Provider status by the Higher Education & Training Awards Council . It demonstrates and proves our commitment to quality, both in delivery of education, assessment and in protection for learners. By offering state approved courses recognised under the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), we demonstrate our goal to offer more choice to learners in a climate where qualifications and evidence of skills has become increasingly important’. CMI are now offering HETAC approved programmes from March 2010 to Irish and International students. Bookings are now being taken.
