FETAC, the Further Education and Training Awards Council

FETAC is the Further Education and Training Awards Council, the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. It was set up as a statutory body on 11 June 2001 by the Minister for Education and Science under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act, 1999.
FETAC reports to the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) who manage the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
CMI is a recognised Education Provider under the Qualifications (Education & Training) Act 1999, and currently delivers education and training from level 2 to level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
Further education and training in Ireland offers more opportunities than ever before for learners. To be certain that the provider is registered with FETAC and can help you achieve a FETAC award, view
Registered Providers. FETAC registered providers' programmes and services are evaluated and monitored.
All FETAC awards are part of the
National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). This ensures that your award is nationally and internationally recognised and that the award can create further learning opportunities for you.
