    The Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply is a UK level 5 advanced chartered qualification awarded by the prestigious CIPS, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (UK). This procurement and supply chain management course is designed for intermediate to senior procurement and supply professionals who have completed the Diploma level  4 UK  CIPS qualification. This course will bring your learning to the next advanced stage. Exploration into management, risk management and managing supply chain performance will ensure you can deal with any possible issues that may arise and affect the supply chain.

     

    The newest feature of this course is Pre-recorded classes which are useful for revision and playback purposes. They are available for both classroom and distance students.

     

     

    The Procurement and Supply course will examine diverse purchasing management practices, the importance of organisational structures, managing different cultures, techniques to deal with conflict within teams and between individuals. Plans to overcome human resistance to change and to implement change successfully will be explored.

     

    An analysis of potential sources of risk to organisations and identify strategic, operational and project based areas of risk.

    Evening Classes Cost

    The taught course through classes is 6 months, 24 weeks in duration and costs 2,450 euro which includes 10 course books, lecture notes, past exam papers and online study resources. The fee is payable in advance of course commencement.
    Please note places are limited and online booking must be submitted by the deadline date .

    CIPS Registration and Exam fees are additional and must be paid directly to CIPS - cost 617Stg . Students can also do this course by distance learning.

     

    Distance Learning Cost

    The distance learning course is 6 months in duration and costs 1,750Euro which includes books and access to lecture notes, past exam papers and online study resources.
    The distance course can be started at anytime, however exam sittings are fixed.  This fee excludes CIPS Registration and Exam fees which must be paid directly to CIPS.  An optional weekend seminar covering each module, each term is available. 

     

    Registration

    How do I book

    Simply complete the online booking form.

    Pay a 300 euro deposit online via Visa or Laser card.

    Your place on the course is 100% confirmed within 48 hours of receipt of online booking/payment.

    All course fees are payable in advance and the balance of payment is required before or on start date of course.

    Cash, Cheques, Bank transfer is also accepted as alternative means of payment, in which case you must inform CMI admissions in advance.

    Online Bookings and payments are subject to CMI Terms & Conditions.

    CMI courses are held off Dame St, Dublin 2 in Dublin city centre.

    Instalment plans: Instalment plans are offered for unemployed and part-time workers to be agreed with admissions prior to course commencement A. Pay 300 deposit B. 50% of fee by start date of course. C. Balance of fee within 8 weeks.

    Sponsorship: Students must still pay a deposit of 300 euro to secure their place irrespective of whether they are being sponsored by an employer or other body. Once payment is received in full for the course by this sponsor, the student will receive a 300euro deposit refund.

Tutors

Turlough-Kieran
Turlough is a procurement professional with 25 years experience in the profession. He has   held senior procurement positions in a range of large blue chip companies and organisations in the public and private sectors, both in Ireland and the UK. He is a full member of CIPS and is head of a procurement department for a large public service organisation. Turlough lectures on CIPS modules with CMI.
Donal D’Arcy is a procurement and supply chain specialist with over 10 years’ experience in the profession.  Donal currently holds a senior procurement position in Ireland and has extensive international experience in global procurement and supply chain management. Donal is a chartered member of the CILT, a full member of CIPS and lectures with IT Carlow, Griffith College and on CIPS Diploma and Advanced Diploma modules with CMI.
