Twenty years is a significant milestone in any career. For some, it can feel like a lifetime, while for others it passes in the blink of an eye.
For Sandra Duff, the past two decades at CMI have been marked by unwavering commitment, dedication, and an enduring passion for supporting learners, teachers, and colleagues alike.
Recently, the CMI team gathered at our Dublin offices to celebrate Sandra’s extraordinary achievement of 20 years of service with Communications & Management Institute (CMI). It was a special occasion that recognised not only the length of her service but also the immense contribution she has made to the organisation throughout the years.
Many of our students and tutors will know Sandra as the friendly and reassuring voice at the end of the phone or the helpful contact who always goes the extra mile. From managing registrations and examination bookings to resolving complex student queries, Sandra has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed.
Over the past twenty years, Sandra has been a constant presence through some of the most challenging and important periods in CMI’s history. She helped keep operations running during severe winter weather disruptions, maintained essential support services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and played a key role in ensuring continuity during the economic challenges faced by many organisations in 2011.
What truly sets Sandra apart is her loyalty, resilience, and student-centred approach. Her open-door policy, willingness to help, and unwavering support for learners have made a lasting impact on thousands of students who have studied with CMI over the years. She is a trusted colleague, a valued team member, and an integral part of the CMI family.
Following a special presentation at our offices to mark this important milestone, colleagues continued the celebrations with a meal at The Dion Restaurant in Dublin, reflecting on Sandra’s many achievements and the positive influence she has had on the organisation.
On behalf of everyone at CMI, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sandra for her outstanding service, dedication, and hard work over the past 20 years. Her contribution has helped shape CMI into the institution it is today, and we look forward to many more years of success together.
Congratulations, Sandra, on this remarkable achievement and thank you for 20 years of exceptional service to CMI. 🎉
