Swedish Fashion Giant Set To Rock The Boat In Ireland

October-Courses-Now-Enrolling!

Grafton street is considered to be Ireland's most prestigious shopping street. It houses an impressive array of fashion and jewellery stores that compete with each other daily. A street that contains so much history and beautiful architecture is also consistently brimming with new tourists and regulars alike.

It has been rumoured for quite some time and has now been confirmed. Swedish fashion Giants & Other Stories is set to arrive at Dublin's Grafton Street this Autumn. This store opening will marks their very first Irish venture and the news has created great excitement and anticipation among the Irish Fashion market.

The store will be located at the unit that previously houses A/Wear and the location has created some anxiety for other fashion retailers in the area. Despite being only three years old, & Other Stories already has a loyal Irish fan base base via their online store which ships worldwide. It is believed that the trendy store will shake things up and create a hype that will indefinitely affect the revenue of other high-street stores in Ireland. It is not overly expensive but is highly praised for it's unique fashion, accessory and cosmetic lines.

The brand has come alive in many European cities such as Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin to name but a few. In a statement regarding the Irish store opening & Other Stories Managing Director Samuel Fernstrom said that he was delighted to have found a suitable store location in “the heart of Dublin”.

The store is the little sister of H&M and Cos due to it being part of the same group as these lucrative fashion brands. It is rumoured to be the brand that will offer Irish Fashion something unique and something fresh. Terms that have left other high-street stores in the vicinity a little bit on the edge as they await the inevitable fallout.
