    What is a child psychologist?
Many children have to cope with the stresses of life like divorce, death, and family or school transitions. A child psychologist will assist children with a variety of developmental issues, from learning disabilities to severe mental illness. Child psychology observes how a child interacts with their parents, themselves, and the world, to understand their mental development.

Whether you are a parent yourself or work within the childcare profession this course will provide you with the range of skills and knowledge to help you facilitate child development. The Certificate course leads to a QQI level 6 Minor award in Child Psychology.
