You will learn about the impact of external influences and how the digital and commercial environment shapes the HR environment. The diverse range of analytics to improve workplace decision-making will be explored.
Understanding core people behaviours as well as appreciating the fundamentals of wellbeing, ethics and inclusivity will be analysed. Finally the diverse array of specialist areas such as recruitment, talent management, reward and learning and development, essential to a career in people practice will be examined.
The CIPD level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice (FCPP ) is regulated and recognised by Ofqual (England) to level 3, which is comparable to level 5 in the Republic of Ireland.
Membership Fee Included: CMI will pay the first year of your CIPD student membership. Once CMI registers you for the CIPD qualification, you will then be registered to join the CIPD as a Student Member from the start of your studies. It is essential to maintain your Student Membership until your studies are completed.

Marcus works as a Senior HR Business Partner with Analog Devices Ireland. Marcus has 25 years of industry experience having worked in manufacturing and engineering role before moving to HR. Marcus is a CIPD member and a Chartered Organisational Psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland. He holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology. He teaches modules such as Diversity and inclusion on CIPD Diploma programmes with CMI.
Therese Donovan is MBA and CIPD qualified Human Resource management professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Sustainability, Manufacturing and Not for Profit sector. Manages all aspects of the HR function with particular emphasis on Engagement , Retention, Performance Management and Reward & Recognition. Specialising in Change Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion. Therese teaches on the CIPD Associate Diploma for CMI.
Christine Corcoran holds a BA (Hons) in HR Strategy and Practice and an MSc in Work and Organizational Psychology / Behaviour from DCU. She has worked in generalist HR roles for ten years, in Consultancy, Retail, Security and the Food Industry. Her practical experience includes managing international and domestic recruitment drives, managing a broad spectrum of Employee Relations issues, Talent Management, People Development, and Employee Engagement. Christine worked in the Kepak Group as their Learning and Development Manager and was responsible for designing and implementing the L&D Strategy for all eight sites across Ireland. Christine lectures on units on the CIPD Associate Diploma at CMI.
