5 star reviews    'A great facility course from start to finish, and I enjoyed the teachers and assignments very much. Now I'm definitely ready to do additional units for the Diploma in Facilities Management'  Grainne Ryan - More Reviews

The Certificate in Facilities Management course is an internationally recognised level 4 UK qualification (which is broadly equivalent to level 6 in Ireland) and is awarded by the IWFM Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management. This facilities certificate is suited to newcomers with no prior experience who wish to work in facility management and require an entry level qualification.

CMI is an approved accredited partner with IWFM - Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management (formerly BIFM British Institute of Facilities Management).  Our School of Facilities Management offers the highest level of part time Facilities Management courses.

With the development of modern building environments, there has been a big increase in demand for qualified and competent junior, middle and senior facility managers. There are lots of career opportunities for graduates and upon successful completion graduates are eligible to progress to the next level of qualification Facilities Management Diploma. You can progress to do the Diploma in Facilities Management course by topping up and doing an additional 5 units only. The 4 units completed for the Certificate will be taken into account.

    A unique approach to success

    • Our unique approach allows you to apply what you learn each week over an 8 month timeframe.
    • This course deliberately avoids the intensive 'boot camp' approach from other providers which results in higher failure rates, additional repeat costs, poor retention and lack of integrated learning.
    • CMI's incremental approach to learning, ensures you are well prepared to pass each of the rigorous assessments
    • There is no written exams, but assignments
    • You provide a portfolio of evidence relating to each particular unit
    • You use research skills from home Assignments and submit drafts and final submissions by deadline dates
    • Unlike other providers, CMI assessors provide full feedback on your submitted work on draft and final submission stages . This allows you to incrementally improve assignments and score higher grades.
