CMI received Best Education Procurement Project of the Year 2019 in recognition of our team's hard work and innovation.

The Diploma in Procurement and Supply  course is awarded by the prestigious CIPS, Chartered Institute of Procurement  & Supply and is the first chartered purchasing course and supply chain management course of its kind in Ireland.

Designed for those who aspire to work as Chartered Procurement & Supply Managers and professionals, this is the primary step on the route to full Chartered CIPS Membership credential.

Due to the chartered nature of the award, graduates will be in an excellent position to capitalise on national and multi-national career opportunities, here in Ireland and abroad.

The Diploma in Procurement & Supply course is recognised on the qualifications credit framework by Ofqual England at level 4 (which is broadly comparable to level 6 on NFQ in Ireland).  CMI is a CIPS Centre of Excellence offering a better learner experience and results.

All the major multinational employers look to CIPS qualifications, many of whom are based in Ireland. CIPS qualifications are immune from any potential fall out from Brexit because they are just that, Chartered. They are recognised not just in Ireland, but globally. Chartered qualifications are the first choice of qualification in a global trading environment.

    • 1-2 years Procurement/Buying/Supply work experience   OR

    • Purchasing & Procurement QQI Level 6 Component Certificate

Learners who don’t meet the above criteria for entry to the CIPS Diploma, can ask Admissions whether they would be still eligible.

    Course Aims:

Upon course completion, you will be able to

    1. Understand and analyse the added value that can be achieved through  procurement and supply chain

       2. Understand how to devise a business case for requirements to be sourced
           from external suppliers

3 . Understand the legal issues that relate to the formation of contract
