5 star reviews   ' A short part time Public procurement course with assignments and one exam. Very useful and helpful and I hope to do the Diploma next year'   Mary Cummins - More Reviews

The Certificate in Public Procurement course offers you an opportunity to learn about the public procurement process and ensure you are in compliance with all national and EU procurement regulations. In this intensive 10 week programme, you will learn about public procurement processes and procedures as it applies under EU law in Ireland.

In the EU, supply and public work contracts worth about €300 billion are published annually by public authorities in members states. There is significant value in public tender contracts. The procurement market in Ireland is valued at €16 billion annually with €8 billion on goods and services and €2.7 billion of government contracts for supplies and services and 3.6 billion on capital works (source: Tenderscout: 2015).

The Public Procurement market is growing and driven by government policy. In Ireland, it is expected contracts will grow in value, and a greater need for knowledge and understanding among all stakeholders - suppliers and public sector professionals will assist a smoother transaction flow. This course is aimed at procurement and supply professionals, and those working in the public sector.
