The review of the popular Advanced diploma in CSI and Forensic science was completed by Mr Brian Rankin, Chair of Standards at the Chartered Forensic Science Society (UK) at CMI on Tuesday 24 May 2016. Attending the audit was Mr John O’Toole CEO of CMI, Julia Leo Courts and Criminology Lecturer and Mr Michael Moore CSI & Questioned Documents lecturer.
According to Mr Rankin from the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, ‘the professional body I represent is pleased to recognise and endorse this Advanced Diploma from crime scene to court. Following ongoing reviews, the Advanced Diploma in CSI & Forensic Science is well structured, receives excellent learner feedback and has become one of the best applied CSI courses in the Republic of Ireland,. Even members of An Garda Siochana attend. It was great to see CMI’s internal quality process so robust and that the institute is continuously improving and revising its courses to be current and up to date’.
