CMI, Communications & Management Institute participated at the second Procurex event held in Ireland which took place at the RDS on 26 April 2016.

Over 900 of Ireland’s procurement community, 70 exhibitors as well as hundreds of buyers and suppliers networked and were in attendance. Many really enjoyed the tips they took away from the training zones. High profile lecturers such as Patrick Pirkl from CMI’s Procurement and supply chain management diploma programme gave talks on ‘Developing a plan for sourcing in Procurement’ and ‘Its more than just Cost Savings’.

The first lunchtime talk drew large numbers. Many of the attendees listened to keynote sessions from CMI and other prominent organisations such as the Office of Government Procurement, Central Purchasing Directorate and Health Service Executive. CMI’s participation at the Procurex event was a resounding success. According to John O’Toole CEO of CMI, ‘our partners CIPS also had a stand and keynote speaker and we worked together to communicate the importance of qualifications for this very important profession. Some of our graduates were also in attendance which was great to see. This is still a niche event and one for your diary next year if you are working in this space’.  Pictured at their stand below.
